About University: YCMOU is located in Nashik, Maharashtra, and spread over 147 acres of land. The university was established on 1 July 1989 through Act of 1989 of the Maharashtra State Legislature. It was recognized by the University Grant Commission of Act, 1956 under section 12 (B), India. The architecture UG and PG programs are recognized by the Council of Architecture (CoA).

YCMOU Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

Below are the eligibility criteria for admission into UG, PG, and PhD programs. Candidates must meet the minimum academic qualifications and entrance requirements specified for each level.

• UG programs are based on merit, candidates must have 10+2 with required subjects and minimum marks from a recognized board.

• For PG programs, applicants hold a relevant Bachelor's degree with ra equired minimum marks from a recognized university. Some courses also require entrance exams like MBA, which requires MBA CET entrance test.

• For the Doctoral program, students must have a relevant Master’s degree with at least 55% marks and qualify the required entrance exam/interview.

Application form for multiple programs will begin on 24 May 2025 and ends on 18 June 2025. Applicants can apply for various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral programs by visiting the official website with required documents and application fees of INR 500. These courses are available in different disciplines like Botany, Yoga, Mathematics, Human Resource, Marketing and Human Resource, Management etc.

YCMOU UG Admission 2025

YCMOU Admission will be available for UG programs that include MA, B.Des, B.Tech, MCA, MBA, and B.Com. etc with various disciplines such as Mathematics, Hospitality, Mass Communication & Journalism, Botany, Marketing, and Education. YCMOU Application process for UG courses will start from 24 May 2025 for the July session 2025-26, and the last date to apply will be 18 June 2025. Students who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board can apply for admission and have to pay an application processing fee of INR 500. The admissions are based on merit, and some courses also require a qualifying score in entrance exams such as BCA and BEd. The approximate fees for these courses range from INR 12,300 to INR 64,100.

YCMOU PG Admission 2025

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University has announced admissions for its PG courses for the academic year 2025-26. The application will open on 24 May 2025 and end on 18 June 2025. To apply for admission, candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, followed by the YCMOU Research Entrance Test (RET). The fees of the PhD program is INR 25,000.
