Aligarh Muslim University Admission: AMU offers over 300 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various disciplines. Admissions for these courses are based on entrance exams such as AMUEEE for engineering courses and CUET for programs like B.A., B.Sc., and others. AMU 2025 application process started on 05 March 2025 and ended on 12 April 2025. The application fee varies between INR 750 and INR 850, depending on the courses. Annual course fees at AMU range from INR 20,000 to INR 1,00,000, depending on the program and level of study.

Aligarh Muslim University Admission 2025-26

AMU Admission process for the 2025-26 session has already started, and the last date to apply was 12 April 2025. The University offers various popular courses at UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and PG Diploma, some of them are BA, BCom, BBA, BTech, MA, MTech, MBA, MCA, Phd, etc. The application fee ranges from INR 700 to INR 850. 

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts its university-level entrance exam, AMUEEE, for engineering programs. For other undergraduate courses like B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com., admissions are based on CUET or other national-level entrance tests accepted by the university, like NEET for medical courses.

Eligibility Criteria for AMU Admissions 2025

Students who are seeking admission to Aligarh Muslim University must go through the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for different levels of courses are given below:

• Undergraduate courses: The UG program requires a Class 12 or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks from a reputed board, such as CBSE, ICSE, or a state board. 
• Postgraduate Courses: The PG program requires a class 12 with a minimum of 50% with a UG degree with a minimum of 50 %, and a relevant course with the qualifying marks of CUET. 
• Ph.D. Programs: For doctoral courses, a postgraduate degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks is mandatory from any recognized college. The admission is based on the entrance exams and personal interviews.
• Diploma programs: Students planning for diploma courses should have 10+2, while some may need a graduation. 
• Medical Programs: Candidates who want to pursue a medical degree must qualify NEET 2025 Exam.

Aligarh Muslim University Application Form 2025

Candidates who want to pursue UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate level courses at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) can apply on the official website. The admission can be done through the university entrance exam, which is AMUEEE, and national level entrance exams such as CUET, NEE,T and more. 

AMU has released the application form for all courses at the official web portal on 05 March 2025, and the deadline to fill out the form was 12 April 2025 with a late fee of INR 300. The application form fee is INR 700 and  INR 850 (varies depending on courses). 

Aligarh Muslim University Course Admissions 2025

Aligarh Muslim University offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D programs in different fields. The average tuition fees for all the courses range from INR 20,000 to INR 1,50,000, depending on the course. AMU UG Admission 2025

Students who want to study B.Tech or B.Arch at AMU must take the AMU Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE). Students need to complete 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry Mathematics as subjects, along with a minimum 50% average mark. The admission process considers AMUEEE 2025 ranking and counseling performance as key factors.

The University also takes admissions through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) for most non-professional UG programs, including BA, B.Sc., B.Com, and BBA. Students must enroll at the NTA website for CUET UG 2025 admission and indicate AMU as their preferred university. AMU creates merit lists and schedules counselling sessions by using scores from the CUET. 

AMU PG Admission 2025

Candidates who want to take admission in PG courses like MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and others are required to apply for admission on the official website. The university organizes entrance exams for particular courses through department-specific administration. Some admission processes include both entrance exams and an interview.

AMU Medical Admission 2025

The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at AMU accepts candidates for MBBS and BDS programs only through the NEET UG 2025 admission criteria. Students need to pass NEET PG 2025 to enroll in MD/MS programs alongside MBBS and BDS students. Students must apply for NEET through the NTA website neet.nta.nic.in, while selecting AMU among the participating institutions. The All India Counselling (MCC) conducts the final selection.

How to Apply for AMU Admission 2025

Step 1. Visit the official website amu.ac.in and click on the Online Admission Tab.

Step 2. Enter your information and upload all required documents like 12th marksheet, 10th Marksheet, Graduation certificate for PG Courses, and CUET and NEET score for UG and Medical studies, respectively. 

Step 3. After filling out the application form, candidates need to pay an application fee through the online payment mode.

Step 4.  After completing the registration process, candidates need to download the application form for the counselling session if selected.

• Log in to cuet.samarth.ac.in 
• Create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Fill in your details like Name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, and identity proof.
• Enter Educational Details like Class 10 and 12 marks, school name, passing year, and board name.
• Choose your preferred universities (like AMU), courses, and test subjects.
• Upload your photo, signature, and necessary certificates (if applicable).
• Select exam cities and pay the application fee online.
• Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for reference.

Online registration for NEET 2025

• Go to https://neet.nta.nic.in
• Click on "New Registration" and create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Fill in Personal Details like Name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, and identity proof.
• Enter Educational Details like Class 10 and 12 marks, school name, passing year, and board name.
• Select four cities in order of preference for the NEET exam.
• Upload Documents like a Recent passport-size photograph, Signature, Left thumb impression, Class 10 certificate, and Category certificate (if applicable)
• Pay the Application Fee: Use online payment methods like UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking.
• Download Confirmation Page: After payment, download the confirmation page for future reference.
