MDSU Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

To apply for various programs at MDSU Ajmer, candidates must meet the minimum educational qualifications and percentage requirements specified for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level courses.

• For Undergraduate programs, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

• For Postgraduate programs, applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

• Doctoral programs accept students holding a master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) and qualify the MDSU RET entrance exam.

The university offers admission in different UG courses, including BA, BCA, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BFA, BEd in various streams such as Drawing & Painting, Applied Arts, Environmental Science, Food Science, Nutrition, Textile Design etc. 

Admission to UG courses is preliminary done based on merit score, previous qualifying examination marks. For UG course admissions, generally required candidates to have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). The approximate fees for these courses range between INR 7,000 to INR 82,200.

MDSU PG Admission 2025

Postgraduate courses admission at MDSU are offered in streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Education, Law, and Fine Arts with a variety of courses including MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, MEd., LLM, M.Tech, MFA, MLibISc, and MPA. The application for multiple PG programs will begin on 25 May 2025 and ends on 3 July 2025. Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks (for General) and 45% (for reserved categories) can apply for admission by paying INR 500 application fees. The approximate fees for Postgraduate courses ranges INR 2,200 to INR 39,800.

MDSU PhD Admission 2025

For admission in PhD programs, applicants must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% (45% for reserved categories) followed by the MDSU entrance exam. Candidates can apply for Doctoral programs from 25 May 2025 by visiting the official website by submitting the required documents and application fees of INR 500 before the deadline which is 3 July 2025. The university offers admission in PhD with different faculty including Commerce, Management Studies, Science, Social Science, Arts, Education Fine Arts, and Law. The fees for this program is INR 2,250.
